Migraine Relief Roll-On
How to Use Your Roll-On
Read the 4 quick tips below, then find your symptom or migraine type for the exact application zones.
4 Things to Know Before You Start
-
Apply at the First SignDon't wait until the pain is full-blown. The moment you feel pressure, tightness, or an aura — apply. The earlier you act, the better it works.
-
Start Light, Build UpA small amount first. The formula builds gradually — menthol crystals and wild peppermint intensify over 30–60 seconds. Reapply after 5–10 minutes.
-
Breathe It InTake 3–4 slow breaths through your nose while applying. The wild peppermint and chamomile work through skin absorption AND inhalation — don't skip this.
-
⚠ Keep Far Away from EyesThis is the most important safety tip. The menthol crystals are very strong — even a small amount near the eyes causes intense burning. Always apply to the outer temple area and stay well away from the brow bone and eye socket. When in doubt, go further away from the eyes than you think. If irritation occurs, rinse with cool water immediately.

Find by Symptom
Where to Apply Based on What You Feel
Start with whichever symptom bothers you most. Most customers apply to 2–3 areas at once.
Throbbing / Pulsing Pain
→ Temples + behind ears
Small circles on both temples. Then behind the ears where the skull meets the neck.
Neck & Shoulder Tightness
→ Back of neck + shoulders
Roll along both sides of the spine from skull base down to the shoulders. This is where tension migraines start.
Pressure Behind the Eyes
→ Outer temples + back of neck
Roll on the outer temple area only — stay far away from the eyes and brow bone. Then apply to the back of the neck to relieve the pressure from behind.
Light / Sound Sensitivity
→ Temples + base of skull
Both temples and the soft spots at the base of your skull. Close eyes, breathe slowly.
Nausea
→ Behind ears + wrists
Behind both ears and inside of wrists. Cup hands over nose, breathe deeply. The wild peppermint and chamomile calm nausea fast.
Jaw Clenching / TMJ
→ Jawline + temples
Along the jawline from chin to ear, both sides. Focus on the masseter muscle where you clench.
Sinus Pressure
→ Sides of nose + cheekbones
Both sides of the nose and under the cheekbones. Breathe in deeply — the menthol crystals and wild peppermint help open airways.
Dizziness / Brain Fog
→ Behind ears + back of neck
Behind both ears and along the base of the skull. Sit or lie down while applying.
Migraine Hangover
→ The aftermath
Fog, fatigue, and lingering sensitivity after the pain passes? That's the migraine hangover — and we made a formula specifically for it.

Find by Migraine Type
Step-by-Step for Each Type
Not sure which type? Open whichever sounds most like yours — you might experience more than one.
Classic Migraines (Without Aura) ▾
Most common
One-sided throbbing, sensitivity to light and sound, sometimes nausea. Lasts hours to days.
- Roll onto both temples — slow, small circles, 10–15 seconds each
- Move to the back of neck — up and down along both sides of the spine
- Apply to the base of skull — the two soft spots where head meets neck
- Close eyes, 5 slow breaths through your nose
- Reapply after 5–10 minutes if pain persists
Tip: The best results come from applying at the very first sign — that initial tightness or "off" feeling before the pain fully hits.
Tension Headaches ▾
Very common
Band of pressure around the head. Often starts in neck and shoulders and creeps up. Usually both sides.
- Start at the shoulders — roll across the top of each shoulder
- Move up the neck muscles — both sides, shoulders to base of skull
- Roll across the outer forehead from temple to temple — stay above the brow line and away from the eyes
- Finish at temples — small circles, gentle pressure
Tip: Keep the roll-on at your desk. Apply at the first sign of neck tightness — before it climbs to your head.
Hormonal Migraines (Menstrual) ▾
Very common in women
Hits around your period, ovulation, or hormonal changes. Often more severe than other migraines. Can last 2–3 days.
- Roll onto temples and back of neck
- Add the jawline — hormonal migraines often come with jaw clenching
- Apply along the lower jawline from chin to ear, both sides
- If nausea is present, add wrists and breathe deeply
Tip: If you know your cycle, start applying 1–2 days BEFORE your migraine window as prevention. Daily during vulnerable days, even before symptoms start.
Neck Pain Migraines (Cervicogenic) ▾
Often misdiagnosed
Starts in the neck and radiates up. Pain on one side wrapping from the back of the head to behind the eye. Worse with neck movement.
- Start where the pain begins — back of neck on the affected side, firm rolling pressure
- Roll up to the base of skull on the painful side — hold gentle pressure 5 seconds
- Follow the pain path to the temple on the same side
- Apply to the top of shoulder on the affected side — where the trapezius knots up
- Reapply every 10–15 minutes — cervicogenic migraines respond well to repeated applications
Tip: If your migraines always start with neck stiffness, this might be your type — even if you've never been told that. Apply to the neck FIRST, before it travels.
Aura Migraines ▾
Has early warning
Starts with visual disturbances — blind spots, zigzag lines, flashing lights. 15–30 minute warning before the pain.
- Apply immediately when the aura starts — you have a window before the pain
- Roll onto both temples with slow, even pressure
- Apply to back of neck and base of skull
- Cup hands over nose, 5–6 deep breaths — the chamomile and feverfew help calm the nervous system during aura
- Reapply after 10 minutes — use the aura window to get ahead of the pain
Tip: You have something most sufferers don't — a warning system. Applying during the aura phase (before pain) is the single best thing you can do.
Sinus Headaches ▾
Deep pressure in forehead, cheekbones, or bridge of nose. Worse when bending forward. Face feels full.
- Roll gently along both sides of the nose
- Apply under the cheekbones — follow the bone from nose to ear
- Apply to the outer temples — stay well away from the brow and eye area
- Breathe deeply through your nose — the menthol crystals and wild peppermint help open sinus passages
Tip: The menthol crystals and wild peppermint in the formula are natural decongestants. Breathing in deeply does double duty — the magnesium glycinate absorbs through the skin while the peppermint works through the airways.
TMJ / Jaw Headaches ▾
Pain in jaw, temples, or around the ear. Worse in the morning (grinding at night) or after stress. Clicking jaw. Pain when chewing.
- Roll along the jawline from chin to ear — both sides
- Apply to the masseter muscle — clench to find it, relax, roll over that spot
- Move to temples — small, slow circles
- Roll down the neck on both sides — jaw tension always involves the neck
Tip: If you grind at night, apply before bed along jaw and temples. The magnesium glycinate and chamomile help relax the muscles before sleep.
Vestibular Migraines ▾
Often misdiagnosed
Dizziness, vertigo, or a rocking sensation — with or without head pain. Trouble with balance. Room feels like it's spinning.
- Apply behind both ears — connects to the vestibular system
- Roll along the base of skull — both sides
- Apply to temples if there's head pain
- Sit or lie still, close eyes, breathe slowly for 1–2 minutes
Tip: Many people with vestibular migraines don't know that's what they have — they just "get dizzy." If dizziness and headaches happen together, this is for you.
Cluster Headaches ▾
Intense but shorter
Severe stabbing pain on one side, usually around or behind one eye. Multiple attacks per day for weeks. Eye may water on the affected side.
- Apply to the temple on the affected side — gentle pressure only
- Apply to the outer temple on the same side — stay far from the eye area
- Apply behind the ear on the affected side
- Breathe deeply — the menthol crystals create a cooling sensation that helps during the peak
Tip: Clusters come fast. Keep the roll-on within arm's reach during a cluster period. Speed matters more than coverage.
Ocular / Retinal Migraines ▾
Less common
Temporary vision loss or disturbances in one eye. Twinkling lights, blind spots, partial vision loss. Usually under 60 minutes.
- Apply to the temple on the affected side — avoid the eye itself
- Roll onto back of neck and base of skull
- Apply to the outer temple on the affected side — stay far from the eye area
- Close both eyes, rest in a dark space, breathe deeply
Tip: These are short but alarming. Keep a roll-on in every room so you can apply immediately without searching.
